The Prenatal Program provides complete prenatal care from conception through the post-partum period with nurse midwives. Medical care, social work, AND nutrition services are offered.

The Pediatric Program concerns itself with the prevention of disease, early identification and treatment of physical and emotional conditions, immunizations and health education. The clinical team consists of a pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Nurse, Social Worker and Nutritionist. The pediatric team provides immunizations, regular physicals, sick visits, developmental assessments, nutrition counseling, hearing and vision screenings and other diagnostic tests and treatment.

Family Planning services assist women and their partners in developing an informed approach to maintaining their personal health and to make responsible decisions concerning the planning of their families. Services include well woman care (annual physicals, health screenings and related services), nutritional counseling, birth control, pregnancy testing, and vasectomy counseling and referral to area physicians.

The Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program (BCCSP) WMCHC participates in this New Hampshire program in which female patients may obtain a free screening examination, which includes breast exam, pelvic exam, pap smear and a mammogram. If the screening finds a health issue that requires further medical evaluation, the program will pay for off site examinations and testing.

The Teen Clinic provides reproductive health services, including birth control, STD screening and treatment, sexuality education, information and referral services to teens ages 14 through 21. Our programs and services are based on a comprehensive abstinence-based approach to sexuality education. Clinic services are provided on a walk-in basis on Thursdays from 2:30-5:30 or by appointment.

HIV and STD screening services are offered which include screening and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases and pre-test and post-test HIV counseling.

The Dental Program opened at WMCHC in 2007. The program is staffed by a Dentist, Dental Hygienist and Dental Assistant. Services are offered to children, teens, young adults up to age 20. Services include examinations and oral evaluations, hygiene education, cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, sealants and fillings and restorative care.

Mental Health Counseling is provided to our patients by two part-time counselors, upon referral from one of the medical providers.

Nutrition services are available by referral from a WMCHC medical provider. These services include assessment, education and counseling, and follow up as needed.

Healthy Heart Screens help people identify problems early. The screening is just $20 for cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, and body mass index. You will receive information and education from a registered nurse, who conducts the screening. Results are available at the time of your screen for you to take with you. Appointments are available on Friday mornings, and you do not need to be a registered patient of WMCHC to access this service.
