Brigitte Dargis, Family Practice MD Medical Director

Dr. Dargis, a native of Quebec, received her medical degree from the University of Montreal, and completed her Family Medicine Residency at the Notre Dame Hospital in Montreal. After practicing in emergency rooms in various Canadian facilities, Dr. Dargis and her physician husband moved to a mining town seventeen hours north of Montreal, where they stayed for three years providing medical care in the local clinic and hospital. In 1997 she and her family moved to Gorham NH, where the couple worked at the Coos County health center. After the birth of her third child, Dr. Dargis chose to stay home and be with her children. In December of 2004 she joined WMCHC as our part time physician/medical director. With her seventeen years of experience, she provides oversight and education to our medical staff, and sees patients at WMCHC on referral from our nurse practitioners.


Margaret Riforgiato, Adult APRN

Margie received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Windsor in Ontario and her Bachelor's in nursing from D'Youville College in Buffalo NY. She attended the State University of New York at Buffalo to become an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. After practicing in Buffalo NY and Baltimore MD, she moved to Conway and began working at the Family Health Centre. Margie has over twenty five years of experience, and currently provides primary care and family planning services at WMCHC.


Mary Nagel, Adult APRN

Margie's twin sister, Mary Nagel, is also a healthcare provider at WMCHC. Mary also received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Windsor in Ontario and her Bachelor's in nursing from D'Youville College in Buffalo NY, and she also attended the State University of New York at Buffalo to become a nurse practitioner. After practicing in Buffalo, Mary moved to New Hampshire, where she worked in family practice and at Lakes Region General Hospital. Mary also has over twenty five years of experience, and currently provides primary care and family planning services at WMCHC.


Christine Clyne, Women's Health APRN

Chris graduated from Amherst College and then Yale School of Nursing where she earned a Masters degree in Community Health Nursing. After working for three years as labor and delivery nurse at Memorial Hospital, she returned to school to become a nurse practitioner.  Chris has worked in Carroll County providing prenatal and family planning care since 1989. At WMCHC, Chris works in family planning clinic and the teen clinic.


Shawn Flanagan- Rogers, Pediatric APRN

Shawn has been a Registered Nurse Practitioner for approximately 38 years, having graduated from Northeastern University in Boston after enrolling in one of the earliest nurse practitioner programs in the country. She has been in the valley since 1991, providing services at the original Children's Health Center. Now she leads the pediatric team at WMCHC ensuring the health and well-being of children here in Mount Washington Valley. For each of the past three years, Shawn has traveled to Haiti as part of a Dartmouth project providing healthcare to children. Shawn's sensitivity to individual family needs and innate understanding of children coupled with her extensive education and multicultural experiences combine to provide Mount Washington Valley children with an exceptional healthcare resource.

Deborah Cross, APRN joins WMCHC

Deborah Cross earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and then went on to receive an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Louisiana State University. After working as a Registered Nurse for twelve years, Deborah received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco. Her program specialty was Family Practice. Deborah (Debbie) has recently relocated to the area and says, "I am happy to be in this beautiful area, and look forward to serving the patients of White Mountain Community Health Center".


Kerrie Trumble Curtin, CNM

Kerrie was the first midwife in Mount Washington Valley and began the first midwifery practice here. She began her medical career by graduating with a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Rhode Island, and earning a master's degree in nursing from Case Western Reserve. She then attended the Frontier School of Midwifery in Kentucky, the oldest midwifery school in the country. She has been a Certified Nurse Midwife for fifteen years. She is presently working on her doctorate in naturopathic medicine while she continues a practice in the Prenatal Program at WMCHC, and a practice at Women's Health at Memorial Hospital.


Kathleen Mulkern, CNM

Kathleen earned her degree in nursing from the University of New Hampshire, then went on to attend the Boston University School of Public Health to attend the midwifery program and earn her master's degree. After graduating in 1997 she worked in Massachusetts, first at a birth clinic and then at a hospital. She also worked for Planned Parenthood New England providing family planning services. A native of the Mount Washington Valley, Kathleen returned to the area in 2003 and currently practices in our Prenatal Program as well as at Women's Health at Memorial Hospital.


Martin Chaput, DDS

Dr. Chaput graduated from the University of Maryland, College of Dental Surgery and had a successful private dental practice in Salem, MA for many years. He has been active in the North Shore District Dental Society, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the Salem Lion's Club . He joined the children's dental program in October 2006 as our pediatric dentist.


Amy Stoddard, RDH

Amy is a lifelong resident of the Mount Washington Valley area. From an early age Amy wanted to serve the oral health care needs of her community, a dream she realized in 1993. Initially, Amy worked with area dental offices as a Certified Dental Assistant. Since that time, she further developed her skills through the dental hygiene program at the University of New England, and she is currently a licensed Dental Hygienist in both New Hampshire and Maine.


Catherine J. Kasprak, CDA, RDH, AAS, IPDH

Cathy, the advisor to the children's dental program at WMCHC, graduated from Boston University in 1976 as a Certified Dental Assistant, and later enrolled in the Williamsport Area Community College Dental Hygiene degree program, from which she graduated in 1979. Cathy has practiced Dental Hygiene in the general, periodontal, and public health fields for the past 30 years, and earned an Independent Practice Dental Hygienist (IPDH) license in the State of Maine in 2008. She has held various officer positions within the Dental Hygiene Association in a number of states at local, state and national levels, and currently serves as president of the Maine Dental Hygienists' Association (MDHA).
