We are committed to ensuring that everyone in our community has access to essential healthcare, regardless of income or insurance status.

As we look ahead to 2026, we are facing a significant financial challenge. Federal and state funding has decreased by roughly $300,000, and reductions to Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace plans are expected.

Our sliding fee scale will provide a safety net for people in our community losing their coverage. However, as more people need this support, the strain on our organization grows. Each $10 visit represents $100–$300 in unreimbursed care, limiting our ability to maintain the programs our community depends on.

For someone on our sliding fee scale who pays $25 per visit…

• $75 covers the full cost of a dental cleaning for an adult
• $150 covers an office visit for someone with substance use disorder
• $250 covers an initial primary care visit for someone with depression and diabetes
• $2,000 covers sixteen psychotherapy sessions for someone with anxiety disorder

A larger donation would keep a program going that doesn’t get reimbursed by health insurance or charged to patients, such as our care coordination program.
